  1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES UPON PAID PURCHASE.
    TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy with Kaishia provides the following optional services through the Self Publishing Made Easy Success Path:

    Soft Read- During your writing process, you may prefer to have another pair of eyes read over your book to ensure the message and context you are conveying is clear to the reader. Edit suggestion is not provided at this time.

Editing - Editing includes grammar, punctuation, sentence and paragraph structure, etc. The purpose of editing it is not to change your speech or the context of your book. All edits are made at the Author (you)'s approval and preference.

Formatting - The flow and design of your book will enhance and stir your reader's experience as they journey through your book. Formatting will structure the content on the pages of your book from cover to cover.

Cover Design - Cover consultation and design are offered for the front and back of your paperback books. However, professional cover art can be provided with the consent of the designer.

Publication Submission - Self publishing distribution companies require your book to be packaged properly for a successful upload. We will help prepare and submit your book package for upload.

ADDON SERVICES: Transcription Service is available upon request. This service is at the cost of $1.25 USD per once sided page.

ADDITIONAL BOOK SERVICE COMPLETION COST: Book Service Completion for work that is over 40,000 words will require an additional fee of $250 USD per each additional 25,000 words. This additional fee will be billed separately after the file is reviewed. All payments must be paid in full before the books completion, prior to the final review. 

DISTRIBUTION: Assistance with distribution is not a paid service with TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy. Upon request, TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy may assist in the file upload of the finished product, which was completed and provided by TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy, to KDP Amazon. Upload to Barnes & Nobles is available by request only. Distribution upload assistance may require you to share personal log on information for KDP.com and press.barnesandnoble.com. At any time, TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy can refuse this service.


2. PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES. The manner in which the Services are to be performed and the specific hours to be worked by TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy shall be determined by TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy.

It is our goal to complete each project within 30-90 day. This timeframe will depend on the cooperation of the Author (you) and timely submission. RUSH ORDERS are a request to have the work completed within 30 days or less. This request must be reviewed and approved by TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy and may warrant an additional fee or all fees paid in full. The Author (you) has the final say and approval of the work, therefore, TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy takes no responsibility for rushed or incomplete work.

TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy will abide by their Book Completion Process. 

It is the expectation of TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy to deliver a quality product. TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy will work with the Author (you) to resolve any issue as to the best of the company and staff’s ability. TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy is not responsible for the quality of materials used to print books by any distribution company. TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy is not an affiliate of any distribution printing or self-publishing company. TRU Statement Publication - Self Publishing Made Easy has control in the printing and shipping timeframes established by outside companies and distribution companies.


3. PAYMENT. Self Publishing Made Easy with Kaishia/Book Completion Service starts at $500.00 USD.

There are 3 payment options. 

Option 1: Single Payment of $500.00 USD. Payment is made at the time of signing up and is paid in full. 

Option 2: 2 Payments. Total service fee is $550.00 USD. 1st Payment of $275.00 USD is due upon signing up and the 2nd payment of $275.00 is due after 30 days.

Option 3: 3 Payments Total Service fee is $600.00 USD. 1st Payment of $200.00 USD is due upon signing up and the 2nd payment of $200.00 is due after 30 days of first payment. 3rd payment is due after 60 days of first payment.

There are 7 calendar days to request a refund prior to the start of services.

All payments must be paid in full in order to receive the finished product. 

  • For example, if you chose 3 payments, and your book is completed at the time the 2nd payment is due, both the 2nd and 3rd payment will need to be made to continue with the final step of packaging and publishing at that time. 
  • If additional time is needed, or you prefer to wait until the original date of the 3rd payment, no worries. There is no rush for payment before it is due. 
  • Please make note, your book cannot be completed until all payments are received.



  1. TERM/TERMINATION.
    This Agreement shall terminate automatically upon completion, by TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy, of the Services required by this Agreement.

Note: All payments must be satisfied prior to release of final work and termination of the project.

TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy has the right to cancel and terminate service within 15 business day, if TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy believes they do not have the staff to support the efforts in completing a timely quality project, for the submitted work, within 30-90 days. The payment amount paid at the time of sign up will be returned to the customer within 5 business days, after being informed of the termination of service.

A staff member of TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy will contact and discuss the lack of support, either by email or customer contact via phone; in some cases there will be an attempt to resolve the termination by obtaining an additional agreement with an extended timeframe.

If you choose to terminate…

  • If you change your mind and want to cancel your book completion service, you have 7 days to request a return of your deposit. Once the process begins, no refunds are accepted. 

 

  • If you choose to stop the process along the way, without additional payment, you can request to receive the manuscript with the work that has been done up from the previous phase. Remaining services will be terminated upon your request. 

 

  • If you fail to contact support and inform you want to stop of pause your service, your next payment may still be auto drafted and is ineligible for refund, because that phase of work has been completed.


  1. RELATIONSHIP OF PARTIES. It is understood by the parties that TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy is an independent contractor with respect to Author (you), and not an employee of the Author (you). The Author (you) will not provide fringe benefits, including health insurance benefits, paid vacation, or any other employee benefit, for the benefit of TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy.

    6. EMPLOYEES. TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy employees, if any, who perform services for the Author (you) under this Agreement shall also be bound by the provisions of this Agreement.

    7. INDEMNIFICATION. The Author (you) agrees to indemnify and hold harmless TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy from all claims, losses, expenses, fees including attorney fees, costs, and judgments that may be asserted against TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy that result from the acts or omissions of The Author (you), the Author (you)’s employees, if any, and the Author (you)’s agents.

    8. NOTICES. All notices required or permitted under this Agreement shall be first sent by email and if not contact in writing and shall be deemed delivered when delivered in person or deposited in the United States mail, postage prepaid, addressed to the Author (you) at the address provided in the purchase order as the Author (you)’s address.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS PERMITTED: Electronic communications are permitted

Such address may be changed from time to time by either party by providing written notice to the other in the manner set forth above.

9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT. This Agreement contains the entire agreement of the parties and there are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement, whether oral or written. This Agreement supersedes any prior written or oral agreements between the parties.

10. AMENDMENT. This Agreement may not be amended.

11. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. If a court finds that any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision shall be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.

12. WAIVER OF CONTRACTUAL RIGHT. The failure of either party to enforce any provision of this Agreement shall not be construed as a waiver or limitation of that party's right to subsequently enforce and compel strict compliance with every provision of this Agreement.

13. APPLICABLE LAW. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.

14. INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE. Either party shall be excused from any delay or failure in performance required hereunder if caused by reason of any occurrence or contingency beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of war, fire, insurrection, laws proclamations, edits, ordinances or regulations, strikes, lock-outs or other serious labor disputes, riots, earthquakes, floods, explosions or other acts of nature. The obligations and rights of the party so excused shall be extended on a day-to-day basis for the time period equal to the period of such excusable interruption. When such events have abated, the parties' respective obligations hereunder shall resume. In the event the interruption of the excused party's obligations continues for a period in excess of thirty (30) days, either party shall have the right to terminate this agreement upon ten (10) days' prior notification to the other party.

  1. ASSIGNMENT. TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy agrees that it will not assign, sell, transfer, delegate or otherwise dispose of any rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of The Author (you). Any purported assignment, transfer, or delegation shall be null and void. Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent the consolidation of The Author (you) with, or its merger into, any other corporation, or the sale by The Author (you) of all or substantially all of its properties or assets, or the assignment by The Author (you) of this Agreement and the performance of its obligations here under to any successor in interest or any Affiliated Company. Subject to the foregoing, this Agreement shall be binding upon and shall inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective heirs, legal representatives, successors, and permitted assigns, and shall not benefit any person or entity other than those enumerated above.

    16. SIGNATORIES. By checking the box, "I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of this page as follows:" and completing your purchase with payment, you, the Author (you), accept the terms of the agreement as if signing a physical copy. A copy of this agreement will be available within your account on the site of selfpublishwithkaishia.com

    NONDISCLOUSURE AGREEMENT

    This Non-Disclosure Agreement, created on this day of receipt of submission between TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy and the writer/Author (you)  accepting the terms and agreement, is created for the purpose of preventing the unauthorized disclosure of the confidential and proprietary information. The Parties (TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made easy and  writer/Author (you) agree as follows:

    I. TYPE OF AGREEMENT.

    Unilateral – This Agreement shall be Unilateral, whereas, the signing writer/Author (you) shall have sole ownership of the Confidential Information with TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy being prohibited from disclosing confidential and proprietary information that is to be released by the 1st Party.


    II. RELATIONSHIP. TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy relationship to the writer/Author (you) is service based. Kaishia Slaughter is working on behalf TRU Statement Publications - Self Publishing Made Easy & Self Publish with Kaishia as a Publications Consultant to the  writer/Author (you).

    III. DEFINITION. For the purposes of this Agreement, the term “Confidential Information” shall include, but not be limited to, documents, records, information and data (whether verbal, electronic or written), drawings, models, apparatus, sketches, designs, schedules, product plans, marketing plans, technical procedures, manufacturing processes, analyses, compilations, studies, software, prototypes, samples, formulas, methodologies, formulations, product developments, patent applications, know-how, experimental results, specifications and other business information, relating to the Party’s business, assets, operations or contracts, furnished to the other Party and/or the other Party’s affiliates, employees, officers, owners, agents, consultants or representatives, in the course of their work contemplated in this Agreement, regardless of whether such Confidential Information has been expressly designated as confidential or proprietary. Confidential Information also includes any and all, work products, studies and other material prepared by or in the possession or control of the other Party, which contain, include, refer to or otherwise reflect or are generated from any Confidential Information.

    However, Confidential Information does not include:

    (a) information generally available to the public;

    (b) widely used programming practices or algorithms;

    (c) information rightfully in the possession of the Parties prior to signing this Agreement; and

    (d) information independently developed without the use of any of the provided Confidential Information.

    IV. OBLIGATIONS. The obligations of the Parties shall be to hold and maintain the Confidential Information in the strictest of confidence at all times and to their agents, employees, representatives, affiliates, and any other individual or entity that is on a “need to know” basis. If any such Confidential Information shall reach a third (3rd) party, or become public, all liability will be on the Party that is responsible. Neither Party shall, without the written approval of the other Party, publish, copy, or use the Confidential Information for their sole benefit. If requested, either Party shall be bound to return any and all materials to the Requesting Party within 30 days.

    This Section shall not apply to the signing writer/Author (you) if this Agreement is Unilateral as marked in Section II.

    V. TIME PERIOD. The bounded Party’s(ies’) duty to hold the Confidential Information in confidence shall remain in effect until such information no longer qualifies as a trade secret or written notice is given releasing such Party from this Agreement.

    VI. INTEGRATION. This Agreement expresses the complete understanding of the Parties with respect to the subject matter and supersedes all prior proposals, agreements, representations, and understandings. This Agreement may not be amended except in writing with the acknowledgment of the Parties.

    VII. SEVERABILITY. If a court finds that any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of this Agreement shall be interpreted so as best to affect the intent of the Parties.

    VIII. ENFORCEMENT. The Parties acknowledge and agree that due to the unique and sensitive nature of the Confidential Information, any breach of this Agreement would cause irreparable harm for which damages and/or equitable relief may be sought. The harmed Party in this Agreement shall be entitled to all remedies available at law.

    IX. GOVERNING LAW. This Agreement shall be governed under the laws in the State of Nevada and California.
